This is a somewhat surprising result, given that Hojicha is often said to contain less caffeine compared to Sencha.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Caffeine content per 100 grams of brewed coffee: 0.06 grams (Extraction method: 10 g of coffee powder \/ 150 mL hot water)<\/li>\n\n<li>Caffeine content per 100 grams of brewed Sencha: 0.02 grams (Extraction method: 10 g of tea \/ 90\u00b0C 430 mL, 1 minute)<\/li>\n\n<li>Caffeine content per 100 grams of brewed Hojicha: 0.02 grams (Extraction method: 15 g of tea \/ 90\u00b0C 650 mL, 0.5 minute)<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compared to coffee, the caffeine content is lower, but since it can vary depending on the type of tea leaves, processing method, and extraction method, it\u2019s not always straightforward.
