In this series, we will introduce the teplo development team (LOAD&ROAD Inc.), a topic that is not often covered. This article <\/a> We have covered the origins of the company, so in this article, we will introduce the current team structure.<\/p>

First, the development of hardware such as the teplo teapot and teplo cold brew carafe, as well as teplo\u2019s official tea leaves, is conducted in Japan. In hardware development, engineers who are well-versed in Japanese manufacturing handle the design and development of mechanisms, electronics, and firmware from scratch. While it is not necessary to start from zero for products that only slightly modify existing designs, we are creating shapes and functions that do not yet exist in the world, so we have established a system where we handle the hardware design and development ourselves.<\/p>

Additionally, the software for teplo\u2019s major features, such as the mobile app, is developed in India, which is the homeland of our CTO, Mayuresh. Given the high level of software development capability and abundant talent in India, and with our CTO\u2019s understanding of the local culture, software development in India is a great fit for our company.<\/p>

As a result, in 2022, the team working on teplo\u2019s services comprised 38% Japanese members and 41% Indian members. The team also includes members from various other countries such as the U.S. and China, contributing to the creation and delivery of teplo\u2019s products.<\/p>

Finally, let me introduce a phrase found on teplo products and packaging:<\/p>

“Designed by LOAD&ROAD on Earth”<\/p>

In Japanese, this translates to “Designed (developed) by LOAD&ROAD on Earth.”<\/p>
