Sie sehen aus wie Fr\u00fcchte, sind aber tats\u00e4chlich gro\u00dfe, geschwollene rote Kelche und Hochbl\u00e4tter, die die Samen umschlie\u00dfen. Sie erinnern an kleine Drachenfr\u00fcchte und sind etwa so gro\u00df wie ein Wachtelei.<\/p><p>F\u00fcr Hibiskustee werden nur die Kelche und Hochbl\u00e4tter verwendet, daher wird der innere Teil entfernt. Der innere Teil ist ebenfalls essbar, also habe ich ein kleines St\u00fcck probiert. Es schmeckte wie ein nicht ganz durchgegartes Okra. Nur weil es essbar ist, hei\u00dft das nicht, dass es auch schmeckt (lacht).<\/p><p>Ich habe die Kelche und Hochbl\u00e4tter in die Teekanne gelegt und hei\u00dfes Wasser dar\u00fcber gegossen. (Diesmal habe ich 250 ml hei\u00dfes Wasser f\u00fcr 2 Roselle-Kelche verwendet.) Ich machte mir Sorgen, dass das hei\u00dfe Wasser die Farbe m\u00f6glicherweise nicht extrahiert, da meine H\u00e4nde beim Entfernen der inneren Teile nicht rot wurden, aber das war nur eine \u00dcberbesorgnis.<\/p><p>Sobald ich das Wasser goss, begann es allm\u00e4hlich, sich zu f\u00e4rben, wie ein Pinsel, der in Wasser getaucht wird. Das Foto zeigt den Tee nach etwa 5 Minuten Ziehzeit. Wenn man einen Schluck nimmt, ist es definitiv sauer!
